I can’t believe that Noir (http://www.abaya-club.co.uk/) was on fire on Tuesday! I personally prefer the Agincourt however many of my friends loved going clubbing there. Has anyone else been there? It was so handy being close to the station too. Apparently the fire started in the kitchen around 6pm and the cause is still unknown. Thank God it wasn’t on a Friday or Saturday – it could have been so much worse!

I know that new owners bought the club in 2007 and had only just finished refurbishing it – pretty gutting really! Has anyone been to the club before it was taken over by ne owners? Do you know if it has changed much over the years?

I wonder what all the staff are going to do for the time being – it is going to take months to patch up. Do you think the club will be fixed and reopen? If not I guess they will have to look for other bartending jobs in Surrey (http://www.careers-jobs.eu/surrey-jobs).

I haven't had many Weybridge nights out, a bit far to walk home really ;) Woking -> Camberley via taxi is expensive enough!!
I didn't read anything about their financial position. Though I imagine it is going to be expensive having to start again!! A nice holiday for the staff though - shame the weather isn't too good at the moment haha!

I haven't really spent much time around Weybridge - are there many pubs or clubs in the area?
