What a nice town Dorking is

We met some friends in Dorking last night, because it was roughly half way from where both live. We went to Viva, a deli style restaurant and to get there walked around the backstreets of Dorking from the car park near the main church. What a delightful area. Lots of cottages and charming small houses. We do not often go to Dorking and had no idea what a nice place it could be to live.

Its not a very big place is it? is it the one with the big cockerill on the roundabout? not far from the capel bypass (great in a ferrari...ahem!) :)

I agree! I used to live in Dorking until fairly recently and yes it's a lovely place to live. There is something for everyone, great restaurants, quaint shops and surrounded by lovely countryside.
