Hi guys:)
How exciting is the new Jamie’s Italian restaurant in Guildford? Apparently it will open this October.
Do you guys think it will be really expensive to eat there?
I had a nosy around on the website (http://www.jamiesitalian.com) and it looks stunning… all the interesting dishes and I must agree with him, the Italians know how to make eating an interesting and exciting occurrence.
If anyone was looking for a catering job (http://www.careers-jobs.eu/catering-hospitality-jobs), the good news is they are still recruiting for the Guildford restaurant, and I think I saw something about the Bath restaurant also maybe recruiting if I’m not mistaken.

Do you guys like Italian food?

Cheers,
Lilly

I love Italian food! I wish my spag bol turned out as well as they do in restaurants! I agree with Josie - an Italian resturant is usually a safe bet when it comes to taking the whole family out.

Does Mr Oliver have a lot of restaurants open around the UK?
I would guess that this restaurant, as it is celeb endorsed, will probably have more visitors and a higher profile. Hopefully it won't reflect on the price of food though! Do you ever wonder if they have higher standards to meet when recruiting chefs, waiters etc?

I would hope that they do as if I went there my expectations would certainly be a bit higher thats for sure! What about you?

Well lets just say when he is advertising Sainsbury's on TV, the dishes he cook look lovely. Especially the "feed your family for £5" one where they make lemon-y burgers. I hope his Italian is up to scratch to haha!

Yes I guess I do have expectations too!

I love the feed your family for £5 ads! I started collecting the recipes but then it kind of dies off for some reason! Maybe I should get back into it?

I made fish cakes and fresh lamb burgers I think hehe!
