Hi all
Do anyone of you know about the nursing homes in Surrey and if they are of high quality?
My mother is doing research about this with my gran to see which option is best and said she can’t find space for my gran.
I read an article about one which is planned for Ashtead – there must be a need then?
Another option is getting a caretaker to live with my gran in the house as she is still mobile.:)

You can get free advice on nursing homes , sheltered accomodation and assisted living from www.housingcare.org - an organisation that is funded by donations and government departments. They also have a free EAC ( Elderly Accomodation Council) telephone advice Line - 020 7820 1343 and you can email them at - enquiries@eac.org.uk

There is a new retirement village ( Mayford Grange) in Mayford, Woking and they have already put information on West Surrey Forum

Fantastic! Thanks for your help Peter...I don't think my mum knows how to research on the net hence all the trouble. This will surely help a lot!
