Good places to go shopping in Guildford?

Hi there, I just came across a copy of Surrey Life magazine while waiting in the dentist and was wondering what people made of its Guildford shopping guide? My wife has now set her sights firmly on heading down there next weekend. My wallet is already shaking!

Guildford has loads of good shops, smaller shops and a few departments stores adn all very near to each other, I would recommend it! I would also recommend the smoothy shop near Barclays if you need a mid-shopping drink!

theres loads to shop for in Guildford. Alot of shops are closing aswell unfortunalty but that does mean you can get some real bargains. Theres quite a nice jewellers in Tunsgate, just off the main high street, which is closing down with 40/50% off everything so maybe if you side track her there you wont end up spending as much!
