What's happening with the local property market? Is now a good time to buy in Guildford and try to cut a really good deal, or are there really good rentals available, so that you can wait and see for a while?
Pete, what about extending? Do you think it is a good time for that rather than selling/moving?
There are news items every day about the lack of work for builders and for everyone else involved in the construction industry. So it must be a very good time to have work done on property - to get a good price and get it finished on time. At some stage property prices will go up again and investments in significant home improvements or extensions will pay off well.
