It's good value and helps so many people. Write or talk to your local councillor. We cannot afford to lose it.

To save the Guildford shuttle bus you can now go to the petitions section of the Number 10 website which is the official site of the Prime Minister's office (petition.number10.gov.uk/shuttlebus). There are currently 34 signatures, and you have until 6th April 2009 to sign it.
Let's hope it gets saved!

The 9th January saw the welcome return of the Guildford Shuttle Bus, which now will run from Monday to Saturday, between 10.15am and 2.15pm.
Charges are set at £1 per single journey, although a multi-trip ticket can be bought for £1.50. Older and disabled travellers can use their concessionary bus pass to travel free of charge.
The new bus is a commercial venture being run by Guildford company Safeguard, which ran the original free shuttle for the council.
It will continue to be very popular with older and disabled people who struggle to get up the town centreâ??s steep hills.
