Measles outbreaks in the country are becoming more and more common due to parents not getting their children vaccinated. The Surrey Primary Care Trust is warning that the percentage of children getting the MMR in Surrey is particularly low, and doctors are urging parents to vaccinate their children.
This is a nationwide issue and while numbers of 2 year olds getting the vaccine are starting to rise there are still a lot of older children who have not received the MMR.

Children over the age of 12 months can receive the vaccination, for more information visit the NHS website.

A perfect example... When a fraction of the population experiences slight negative effects the whole population is affected and scared away.

Though I thought that if parents were worried about mixing the vaccines they could get their child to have them seperately and spread out? There is no excuse to not immunise your child!
