I've heard it's open and I am often in the area to go to M&S down the A30, so I wondered if this new centre is worth a visit. Has anyone been there yet?

I've not been there myself, but a friend of mine has and says its not really worth it. They said 'the mall' shopping centre in Camberley is a lot better and the Atrium isnt worth the high car park fee. It's not got a great deal of shops compared to the mall but has more places to eat. And it does have that new Vue cinema which I'm sure is good, it's always nice to have a variety of cinemas to choose from.
I personally won't be heading there any time soon, but will most likely have a look at some point to see for myself, and it might improve after it's been open a while.

I have been there and its nothing exciting. they have a bowlplex and cinema and restaurants with a lidl supermarket at the back for all the new flats they built as well. Can't say it was worth the hype. the front of the atrium has some clothes shops next/laura ashley i think and some sports shop. used to have zavvi but alas no longer. Camberley now has nowhere to buy cds or dvds with the exception of the naff selection in sainsburys and whsmith :( sigh.
car park is hideous but if the main multi-storey is busy you can always get in it.
just realised this was posted ages ago. sorry :)

To be honest, don't go out of your way to visit it. It has lots of places to eat - From chinese to Italian. The first few weeks it was open all the restaurants were fully booked. I don't know what it is like now but I would advise ringing in advance!
The cinema is quite nice - however VERY expensive. £8 a ticket and we won't talk about the popcorn!!

However I can truely recommend the bowlplex! They have lots of deals going - like £5 for 2 games after 7pm (per head). There is food available that you are welcome to eat while playing. The selection of balls aren't as good as pineridge in Heatherside though.

So... the all important overall conclusion:
GOOD for social occasions - a meal and entertainment
BAD for shopping
