I am a fully qualified and internationally experienced personal trainer. I am coming back to Surrey in May and aiming to use my knowledge and experience to get the people of Surrey fit and healthy without using a gym and at an affordable rate.
Does anybody have any tips on how I can get in touch with people looking to get fit or loose weight? Or does anyone from this forum looking to start a healthy lifestyle or know somebody that is?
And if you are interested call me (07791708392) about my new price plans and book a free no obligation consultation
Hi gavsmith. You might want to put some training tips or free advice here that would be of value to readers and get them generally involved in the topic.

Hi all,
If you are wanting to get fit, and loose weight or achieve a personal fitness goal, my biggest word of advice is to be Organised!! The first step is to find out what your real goal actually is, this sometimes could take a bit of searching with yourself. If you have it jot it down and have a look at a calender and put it down at the date you want to achieve it by.
If you have your goals get them on the forum so we can all keep you motivated and on track. Or if you want any help with figuring out how to come up with your goal feel free to drop me a private email.

Hi all,
Once you have picked your healthy lifestyle goal that you are going to work towards. The best way to keep on track of your goal is to start your own small and very simple healthy lifestyle journal or notebook. This will be a great first step to your goal and will give you excellent motivation further down the line when you can look back and actually see how far you have come.
First of all to make sure your goal is something that you want to achieve, ask yourself and write down how committed you are on a scale of 1-10 (10 being completely dedicated), next write down why you want to achieve this and how you would feel once you have completed your goal. With this written down in your journal whenever you lack commitment and motivation you can look at why you’re doing what you’re doing it and how much better off and the sense of achievement you will feel when you conquer your goal!
Summary:
Get Organised
Get Committed

Hey Josie,
Use the notebook to write down your goal (lose 4kg), when you want to achieve this by, every week write down how commited you are to achieving that goal. You could also have an exercise program written down and what days you are going to follow it on.
Use the rest of the notebook to put down what you have been doing week by week (or day by day) that has been getting you closer to your goal. You could have what exercise you have done that day, even if its taking the stairs instead, because you want to be able to see all the small steps add up. Also you put down what foods you have eaten that will have hindered your progress so you can use this as motivation.
Keep me updated on your progress,
Gavin
