Gutted to read yet again that Surrey green belt is at risk from housing plans once again.

Reigate and banstead are hardest hit then guildford and woking according to getsurrey (http://www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/s/2050355_surrey_green_belt_at_risk_from_housing_pla ns)

I've also heard there are plans afoot to build 400 houses in west end in behind the school and all the way along to beldon bridge road - not only are the roads ineffective (country lanes) but its a flood plain!!! my car swam through the roads earlier this year!!!! (*sigh*) some jobs (http://www.careers-jobs.eu/)worth trying to ruin yet more countryside.

I know its a pull into surrey but not all the houses in chobham have been sold at the lakes because the uber posh homes are right next to the â??affordableâ? housing section and will the same happen again? Iâ??m not starting a class war but would you buy a 500k house next to 10 affordable homes?

Why do they always want to ruin what remaining nice areas we have with more houses?

It is the same news with Elvetham Heath near Fleet. They spent millions making that estate but the houses haven't all been sold! You would think that they would focus their energies on filling up what we already have before building more?!
Ah yes - Chobham is rather well known for flooding! As for the roads being ineffective - they will just smack on a speed limit of 30mph and be done with it. That seems to be the easy solution to road problems - just slow down the cars.

Well my teabag just exploded in my tea and I am having a terrible strop... I hope they never get planning permission!!!
