Default Find out more about Smart's Heath Project

Residents may have spotted cattle grazing on Smartâ??s Heath over the summer. The cattle are brought in to manage the heathland by keeping the grasses and scrub at bay, and have become a regular sight in recent years.
A number of residents volunteered to check them each day, looking out for any signs of illness and also keeping an eye on gates and fences and carrying out small repairs.
If you would like to get involved with checking the cattle, or want a leaflet with further information about Smartâ??s Heath, how it is managed and future plans for improving it, visit: www.surreyheathlandproject.org.uk
